A full healthy home assessment will take a full day (and possibly more depending on the size of the house). An EMR survey takes 6-10hrs for the average size house.

I charge $100/hour for my surveys and consulting work. 

I prefer homeowners are present for surveys. This way homeowners can ask questions along the way and it helps the information to sink in more. 

I am currently not traveling beyond 2 hours to perform surveys. I charge $1/mile (roundtrip) for surveys more than a half hour from Burlington, VT.
